"SANCTUARY STUDENT CHURCH"
Our mission is to lead this generation of students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our prayer is those same students then become disciple makers, actively involved in His church, wrecking this world for Jesus!
We have lots of opportunities for your students to get involved.
WEEKLY:
We have 6th-8th grade student church with in depth bible teaching and intimate small groups. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that the Jr High students can feel comfortable enough with church to open up in small groups and have a real connection with the Creator. We will have a place where they can be theirselves and talk about things that they are dealing with right where their at.
We have awesome opportunities for your High School student(s) to serve. Sunday mornings will be students serving the church. We have a ministry that is student based and lead. They will have several areas in the church to serve: Kids World, Adventure City, Toddler Town, Parking Lot Greeters, Peer Greeters, Campus Guides, and the Transformation Team. Our goal with the High School students is to give them a tangible way to live out their faith by learning and understanding the importance of serving. Matt 20:28 - "just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
We will have a VIP section in the main service dedicated to only High School students who either have a weekend off from serving, are new to the church, or are serving in a section that comes into main service when finished. We want the students who are approaching graduation to really connect and have ownership of their church and the main service.
Wednesday nights are an absolute AWESOME time for all students 7th-12th grade. It consists of a high energy time of fellowship and games before service, a full band engaging in worship that is loud enough to knock you over, a relevant gospel message, and intimate small groups split by grade and sex. We meet in the Multi Purpose Room at Mesa View Middle School. It is a much larger room that accommodates more students. This is a high energy time of learning the deep truths in the bible while giving the students an opportunity every Wednesday night to have a safe place to ask for and receive prayer and encouragement.
MONTHLY:
Every month in addition to these opportunities we will also have events like cosmic bowling, our annual "Lounge Luau", mini golf, etc... And a once a month time of serving the needy and homeless in our area.
YEARLY:
Every year we will also have winter camps, summer camps, and overnight events that are announced prior to the event.
