What to expect
How long are the services?
Our service is about an hour in length. Services begin with our worship band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship, however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of the service, one of our pastors will come out to share a Bible-based, encouraging, and hope-filled message about Jesus.
What's the culture like?
Sundays at Sanctuary are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
We love kids
We have designed fun, interactive spaces just for kids. With music, games, activities, and storytelling, kids learn from the Bible and about God’s love every week. Our kid's church service runs at the same time as the adult service. With programs for children 6 weeks old to 5th grade, each child is taught in an age-appropriate, loving environment.
We love moms and dads
We provide resources so you can enjoy the main service without worry. Our computerized check in/check out system saves time, increases classroom security, and provides easy accessibility to families attending Sanctuary.
Middle School Madness
This service is just for middle schoolers! Students meet on the bus on Sundays after worship at 10:30A. Come hear an age appropriate biblical message, make friends, have fun with a time of games, and grow in your faith.
Highschool Hang
Come hang out at the youth tent before each Sunday service (9A & 10:30A), then head into the main service with your friends or family. We don’t have separate services for high schoolers because we believe that we look more like the family of God when multiple generations gather and serve together!
Young Adults
Meets on Monday nights. On Sundays they join together in the service. You will see our young adults leading worship, bringing the news, and serving all over campus.
Sunday services:
Sanctuary Church meets every Sunday in Calimesa while we prepare to build our church. Come and enjoy coffee and a donut on us. Our amazing hospitality team is ready to serve you! You can also join us online on Facebook.

What can I expect?

Sanctuary Hope City is the San Bernardino campus of Sanctuary Church where your generosity and service is making a difference impacting the lives of a largely homeless community. You are invited to an eye-opening serve experience every Sunday with Pastor Jim Willard.
